PokerStars’ jackpot of the hugely popular mini game The Deal has reached its highest point yet with $466,000 in the pot. Since its launch almost six weeks ago on PokerStars, the jackpot has been hit on average every two days (21 times). It’s not paid out for nine days so players should be ready for a massive pay out soon! The winner will receive at least $233,000, representing a massive increase on the average jackpot pay-out of more than $45,000.
Played by some 60,000 players every 24 hours, The Deal has been played more than 40 million times. In total, nearly $2 million has been awarded to players via The Deal since its launch on PokerStars. The Deal can be found in the main lobby of the PokerStars desktop client, under the “More” menu on the mobile app or direct from the poker table

Estonian poker player ‘Tarmooo’ cashed $91,853.23 in the PokerStars Sunday Million after beating a field of 5,229 players. The total prize pool was a guarantee–beating $1,045,800.

Snooker legend Stephen Hendry now 147/1 at BetStars to win PokerStars Festival London Main Event. BetStars is also offering the snooker icon at 7/4 to make it to Day Two of the £990 buy-in Main Event, and 20/1 to finish in the final ten players. Hendry, who said he was happy with his new odds which are priced at the maximum snooker break of 147, is currently playing in the third of three starting days (day 1C) against poker players from across the globe at The Hippodrome Casino London.

The number of announced changes to PokerStars ring games this week. Seat Me aims to improve the ring game seating process making it smoother, quicker and fairer. The automatic seat selection tool will get players straight into the action, removing the ability to pick specific tables and seats. The Seat Me lobby will be trialled on PokerStars.es in Spain.
