POKERSTARS OBTAINS SPORTS BETTING LICENCE IN DENMARK

ONCHAN, Isle of Man – December 4, 2015 – Danes will soon be able to enjoy the thrill of betting on sports in Denmark on PokerStars, an Amaya Inc. (Nasdaq: AYA; TSX:AYA) brand. The Spillemyndigheden (English: Danish Gambling Authority) has awarded PokerStars a temporary one-year sports betting licence, and PokerStars plans to apply

for a full five-year licence.

PokerStars plans to launch sports betting in Denmark soon. PokerStars’ existing online casino license in Denmark will continue to allow PokerStars to offer poker and casino games, and PokerStars plans to launch casino games in Denmark after sports betting, later in 2016.
