‘partalios’ and ‘shooLarr’ from Greece and Russia take home $100,000 each

ONCHAN, Isle of Man – April 22, 2015 – The first millionaire of the ‘PokerStars Makes Millionaires’ promotion has been made, with Russian player ‘CccpVodka’ winning $1,000,000 after just 355 seconds of poker play on PokerStars, an Amaya Inc. (TSX: AYA) company.

The $5 Spin & Go tournament started at 12.29 AM (April 23) Moscow time, and concluded at 12.35 AM, making it a very happy night for the new Russian millionaire.

The runner up was ‘partalios’ from Greece, who won $100,000. The third-place player was ‘shooLarr’ from Russia, who also won $100,000.

The first-ever $1 million Spin & Go was also won by a Russian player – ‘sss66666’ on 12 January, although ‘sss66666’ took a comparatively lengthy 13 minutes and 26 seconds to win his $1 million.
