Season 8 of the LAPT has seen the tour head to the Bahamas for the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure (PCA) in January before making stops in Chile, Panama and Peru, with a festival in Uruguay planned to take place in September. This year, with the LAPT Grand Final joining the festival and Brazilian football legend Neymar Jr acting as a PokerStars ambassador to help promote poker as a sport, it is going to increase overall participation and strengthen the competitiveness of the event.
