The role:

We are looking for a UX Designer to join our busy and dynamic team based in our Malta office.

The role will be integral to the customer-centric design process the team adopts today, as well as contributing to the continued growth and company awareness of UCD. This is an exciting role where the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on innovating new experiences for poker players across the world.

Why we need you:

As part of the team, you will use insights garnered from research and business analytics to inform design decisions. You will partner with different business partners in development, marketing, and other departments designing solutions that meet customer needs and business objectives.

You will work on a variety of projects across multiple platforms (including native apps, desktop software, and responsive sites). Together with visual designers, you will deliver first-class cross channel solutions for customers and communicate designs through sketches, customer journeys, flows wireframes and prototypes gathering feedback and input from business partners and other teams. You collaborate with the wider UX team to shape how work is delivered.

You will be involved in the prototype of lo and hi fidelity solutions for testing. You will work closely with business partners and champion the customer in all product design activities – running workshops when needed to help gather requirements. You will make use of personas, data, and insights to address customer pain-points to remove friction from existing experiences. You will collaborate with visual designers to ensure customer journeys are consistent with product style-guides and the player journey is seamless and entertaining.

You`ll present solutions to executive stakeholders rationalizing and clearly communicating your design decisions, process and benefits for the end-user. You will work in collaboration with developers and QA teams during all phases of the production process.

Who are we looking for:

You have a comprehensive understanding of user-centered design. You have experience being an integral part of a UX team preferably from an in-house environment and designing solutions for all channels (Responsive & Native) and you are well versed in tools used for sketching, wireframing & prototyping solutions for cross channel demonstration and testing. You are an effective communicator standout colleague. 

As the ideal candidate, you will have:

You have at least 3 years as a UX/Interaction Designer, degree in HCI/UX or equivalent work experience and previous experience in the online gaming/poker industry a benefit.
