The role: UI Designer

We are looking for a UI Designer join our busy and dynamic Product Management team based in our Leeds office.

This role will be working on the most critical, strategic projects at the heart of the world’s largest public online gaming business, with funding and opportunities to match our huge ambition.

It’s your chance to work on greenfield developments where you’ll build and run new products that will ultimately be used by millions around the world, building on your career so far and learning new tech skills to solve problems that only exist at this scale.

We’ll look for you to participate in regular innovation sessions, product reviews, and design sprints. You’ll keep up to date with latest industry trends and share this with internal communities. You’ll contribute to UI, Style and Brand guidelines for both internal & external use and help support your design colleagues in UX and User research.

We’ll also ask you to cover our rapidly evolving multi-channel products, and occasionally work on exciting projects outside of the agile workflow.

Who we are looking for: -

We’re looking for a strong communicator to come in and build successful relationships with fellow designers, our research and insights teams, product managers, marketing executives, developers, business analysts and solutions architects. You’ll have experience in UI design and creating visually rich, yet usable and persuasive designs for mobile, tablet and desktop environments, ideally with some experience in native iOS.

You will have an understanding of the principals, methodology and practices of visual design with proven hands-on experience in a team working environment. As well as, expertise in contributing to the uptake of UI pattern libraries and a design system.

You’ll have experience in interaction design, the tactile nature of using a product is at the core of your design methodology and the ability to translate your vision using motion tools is second nature. While also having knowledge of the latest visual design stack including Sketch, Zeplin and Adobe Creative suite.

You will have experience using Microsoft office and tools such as Jira and confluence, as well as experience in working with brand teams, translating global brand vision into day to day user friendly solutions.

As the ideal candidate, you will have: -

Experience in contributing to online user and guerrilla style user research that help validate concepts and designs.

Experience in motion graphics, for both the production of assets and the showcasing of your journeys and interactions. You understand that motion adds value visually but the impact it makes on guiding people through digital experiences.
