The role: Treasury Analyst

We are looking for a Treasury Analyst to join our busy and dynamic Treasury team in our Isle of Man office.

Why we need you:-

As Treasury Analyst you will have responsibility for the Treasury Department’s back office administration requirements and will assist with the development and maintenance of worldwide banking facilities for the Group. You’ll be assisting the Treasury Manager with the maintenance of documentation for existing and new banking relationships. Whilst also maintenance of the Treasury Management System (TMS), including enhancing internal and external reporting.

You will be responsible for preparing the daily cash position report and providing confirmation of treasury transactions executed by the department, including foreign exchange deals and investments. As well as, monitoring bank account transactions and ensuring correct classification of cashflows for forecasting requirements.

This role requires you to assist in the management and resolution of queries sent to the Treasury department e-mail inbox. While also assisting with treasury department initiatives to improve the department’s operational efficiency, drive change to reporting and controls and enhance treasury related systems. You will be required to maintain records in respect of group account signatories and bank platform access rights.

Who are we looking for:-

You’ll have a strong understanding of bank relationship and bank account application requirements, including due diligence and KYC documentation. As well as, knowledge of corporate structures and corporate governance requirements.

You will be highly numerate with an eye for detail and be able to work to tight deadlines as part of a small team. You will have the ability to prioritise tasks and manage workload effectively, while also having strong systems experience, in particular with Microsoft Office Packages and bank payment systems.

As the ideal candidate, you will have:-

Knowledge of SWIFT messages MT 101, 103 and 940, with experience of Bellin TM5 or other treasury management systems is desirable. Familiarity with Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) is also a plus.
