The role: Team Manager, Cashier Platform

We are looking for a Team Manager, Cashier Platform to join our busy and dynamic Payment Product Management unit in our Bulgaria office.

Why we need you:-

You will be looking after the vision and delivery of our Stars Cashier platform, seeking to be best-in-class in the industry, and its transition from the current products. The platform is responsible for all the money movement into and out of The Stars Group system, processing billions of dollars per year, and is the home of conversion and customer KYC. You will also look after products that are part of the Platform to plan and execute the transition to its successor.

You'll manage the roadmap planning of the suit of products within the platform, including supporting other business units’ roadmaps (eg Regulatory and Compliance, New Markets) to deliver value for the stakeholders and customers. As part of this, you will have responsibility for prioritisation and in some cases, project management, as required. For delivery, supported by a team of product owners.

You are required to champion the move to agile methodologies in Payments delivery and will be working within waterfall and scrum towards a smooth transition. This will include working in agile scrum for the delivery of the next generation Cashier Platform, working with designers, architects, developers, scrum masters and your team, to adapt the methodology so that it works for the Stars environment. Whilst also, contributing towards the agile transformation of the rest of Payments Product delivery.

You will also be responsible for the Cashier Platforms key performance indicators which are related to conversion, KYC and payments. You will need to work with your team to understand these and implement changes to improve them.

Who are we looking for:-

  • A passionate driven product leader with an appreciation for delightful products and a strong focus on customer needs.
  • Relevant experience leading a product team in the financial services industry or similar.
  • A degree in business or a technical discipline (or equivalent).
  • The ability to prioritise high volumes of responsibilities autonomously without delays in deliverables.
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycles with multiple development styles and methodologies.
  • A strong interest and aptitude in defining business requirements for software development.
  • Be comfortable working with and analysing data to create meaningful insights.
  • Excellent communication, relationship management and attention to detail skills with strong customer services skills.
  • Working to tight deadlines with a can-do attitude.

As the ideal candidate, you will have:-

Experience working with regulatory frameworks, compliance, onboarding and KYC is very much desirable. Experience/qualification in project management would be beneficial. Having experience working with Google Analytics, Microstrategy, Grafana, Jira and Confluence is also a plus.
