We are looking for a Sportsbook Trading Assistant to join our busy and dynamic team based in our Dublin service office.
Why we need you: -
You will be responsible for servicing regular and ad-hoc information requests from Traders, covering a range of sports queries concerning business levels, liabilities and profits from various betting markets. You’ll also be monitoring the profitability of BetStars individual customers using profiling tools designed by our QA team.
*Please note while this is a full-time position - this is a shift based position with shifts falling on weekends and bank holidays. Shifts are 8.5 hours long and run between 7AM and 10PM*
Who are we looking for:
This role will involve the creation and maintenance of reports using a range of software products and development of effective systems and procedures. Analysis and interpretation of data to produce meaningful information for Group management, in particular changes in patterns and trends, will be a big part of your day.
You’ll be assisting other traders in ensuring that fixtures are published accurately and in a timely fashion along with presenting this information for review by Group management in a clear and accessible manner so an excellent attention to detail is essential for this role.
Testing new builds of the trading systems and reporting back to Group on these is an important element of this role so you’ll need a proven demonstration of an analytical approach to problem solving along with a strong affinity with working in data/maths driven environment.
As the ideal candidate, you will have:
A keen interest in betting and gaming as you’ll be acting as a liaison between trading and other teams within the Group’s Sportsbook department. Extracting information and collation of data from a variety of different sources will also be a big element of this role and whilst being degree qualified in a largely numerate discipline is desirable it isn’t an essential requirement for this role.
