Sportsbook Trader - Night Shift

We are looking for a Sportsbook Trader to join our busy and dynamic team based in our Dublin service office.

Why we need you: -

You will be responsible for delivering on one or more of our Sports products. This is an influential role reporting to a Trading Manager and taking on responsibilities of implementing our strategy on products across all platforms, both pre-event and in-play in various jurisdictions.

*Please note this is a night shift based position with shifts falling on weekends and bank holidays. Shifts are 8 hours long and run between 9PM and 5AM*

Who are we looking for: -

You’ll be involved in the implementation of the Sportsbook strategy for our products pre-approved with the Trading Manager. You’ll be monitoring markets to ensure that prices are correct relative to the market and actively implementing the Group Trading Strategy so a minimum of 12 months working in a trading environment is important.

You’ll be managing bet acceptance on those markets across multiple channels and legislation's in line with the Group’s procedures along with handling queries escalated from the Group’s Support Service Gaming Specialists so being numerate with a strong mathematical background and a thorough understanding of bookmaking theory.

You’ll be a quick and decisive decision maker who thrives on making decisions under pressure as you’ll be recommending and advising on strategy to ensure key deliverables are achieved across all products as well as assisting trading managers in adhoc analysis, reports and administrative tasks as required.

As the ideal candidate, you will have: -

Proven experience in a similar role is desirable as you’ll be working with other departments within Sportsbook including but not limited to In-Play, Trading Analysis, Product, and Marketing teams to ensure profitability is maximised for Sportsbook products and jurisdictions. Experience of Sports modelling and sport modelling tools would also be beneficial as you’ll be assisting and providing specialist recommendation to changes or improvements of new products to enhance Sportsbook revenue generation. A degree in maths/statistics is also desirable.
