The role: Sportsbook Analyst
We are looking for a Sportsbook Analyst to form part of our CRM Analytics team reporting into our central BI unit. The role will be based in the Isle of Man.
Why we need you:-
You will work as part of a team of analysts focusing on Sports CRM using advanced analytics to contribute to the key decisions made across the business. Your analysis will improve business understanding in order to maximise our return on investment for our marketing, commercial and trading activities.
Who are we looking for:-
You will be an experienced Sportsbook/Gaming analyst, ideally with experience of working in the betting and gaming industry.
You will have a keen interest in Sports and have an understanding of sports betting. You will have a degree (or equivalent) in a quantitative area, such as Statistics, Maths or Economics.
You will be a good communicator and team player; be passionate and innovative. You will enjoy the fast-paced working environment and thrive working under pressure.
Data is key to everything we do at Stars – informing our decision-making across the business. This is a role in an important team working closely with the growing Sportsbook division.
As the ideal candidate, you will have:-
- Experience of working with large data sets using SQL, MicroStrategy, or similar.
- Advanced experience of Microsoft office (Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
- Experience in data mining, advanced analytics (clustering, regression, predictive models or similar), a/b testing.
- Practical experience working with tools such as, Python, R, Tableau, KNIME.
