The role: Social Media Analyst

Why we need you:
We are looking for a social media expert with extensive experience working in the social analytics space and a firm grasp of both social and wider digital metrics. Building regular reporting structures and providing ad-hoc analysis and listening research to key stakeholders throughout the business. Adhering to measurement frameworks and contributing to the social data strategy. Experience working for either a publisher, games brand, global brands, would be beneficial.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Social Analytics and Insight, you will be responsible for understanding both our own and competitor content performance to provide recommendations, identify topical insight and trends and mapping out of audience segmentations (from both native data and performance marketing platforms such as Sprinklr and Google Analytics). You will redefine the role of social within the business as we accelerate the journey and lead innovation within the category to gain understanding of all social performance to drive an optimised social media strategy. Helping to communicate our social measurement strategy will be a key elements of the role, driving through our process and delivering against a varied set of analysis and reporting requirements. You’ll have experience in harnessing both structured and unstructured data, reporting, analysis and social listening.
Who are we looking for:
We are looking for a social media expert with extensive experience working in the social analytics space and a firm grasp of both social and wider digital metrics. You should have relevant experience and/or a strong aptitude for crafting measurement strategy, setting social KPIs and creating measurement frameworks, working with both structured and unstructured data. Experience working for either a publisher, games brand, global brands, would be beneficial.
You should possess a strong work ethic, positive workplace approach, work well with others and adapt in a quickly changing production environment. It is important you have strong numerical skills and data visualisation in both live dashboards and PowerPoint presentations.
As the ideal candidate, you will have:
You will be intellectually curious and tech savvy with a passion for numbers, online businesses, emerging platforms and social media developments.
Ideally, you will have advanced Excel skills and be native to Facebook Insights. Experience of or a strong awareness of Sprinklr social media listening and social management tools, as well as any additional experience working in primary research or web analytics would be a bonus.
