The role:

The Poker UX team is looking for a Senior UI/Visual Designer. Your role will be integral to the customer-centric design process the team embraces today, crafting aesthetically pleasing gameplay experiences for players. This is an exciting role where you will become a part of an agile environment innovating new experiences for poker players across the world.

Why we need you:

In this position, you`ll design industry-standard visual solutions for new poker features and products for PokerStars.

You`ll partner with stakeholders, developers, branding & marketing and other departments crafting solutions that meet customer needs and business objectives. You`ll work on a variety of projects across multiple platforms (including native apps, desktop software and responsive sites).

Together with the UX designers, you`ll apply a high level of polish to wireframes and prototypes to deliver compelling player-facing designs and game artwork. Working with the UX team, you`ll ensure customer journeys are consistent with product style-guides and the player journey is seamless and entertaining. You`ll work with wider design and development teams to shape how work is delivered.

You`ll present solutions to executive stakeholders rationalising and clearly communicating your design decisions, process and benefits for the end-user.

You`ll use design to add moments of delight for players through graphics, interactions, transitions, and animations. To achieve all this, you are proficient with Adobe Creative Cloud, Sketch and other common design tools, have a great eye for detail and consistency.

Who are we looking for:

You have a comprehensive understanding of product design and experience being an integral part of a Design team preferably from an in-house environment. You are an effective communicator and a standout colleague.

As the ideal candidate, you will have:

As a perfect candidate, you have at least 3 years as a UI/Visual Designer, degree in Graphic Design / UI Design / Multimedia or equivalent work experience. Previous experience in the online gaming/poker industry would be considered a benefit.
