The role:
We are looking for a Senior Software Developer to join our busy and dynamic team based in our Dublin service office.

Why we need you:
On the positions Senior Software Developer, responding to Group approved development requests you will contribute to the creation of applications in a fast-paced working environment, focusing on the server side, robust and scalable components to serve multiple platforms for mobile and web applications.

You will attend project kick-off, design and review meetings. You`ll contribute to the creative design and architecture of scalable backend software components to serve frontend applications across multiple platforms.

You will employ best-in-breed software design patterns to support a high-concurrent number of clients. You will interface and coordinate with team members, including Project/Product management, Creative/Design, QA and technology. You`ll write clean, documented, reusable, and scalable code for deployment on unix servers. You`ll maintain a coding skill set consistent with current and upcoming client platform capabilities, sharing knowledge as applicable. You can work at both detailed and abstract levels, solving problems creatively. Overall you are highly productive, creative and motivated.

As the ideal candidate, you will have

You have at least 7 years working experience programming server side for applications. You have proven experience in Java server development and end-to-end product development from conceptualisation through to successful launch of an application. You have proven ability to deliver large-scale applications.

You have strong attention to detail, organisation, and time management/project management skills. You have a deep understanding of the latest features and development best practices. You have proven experience implementing OOP and software design patterns. You can work independently and as part of a team.
Experience with AMQP, Netty, GIT, Mahout and working under Agile principles are desirable.
