Senior Project Manager - Licensing

We are looking for a senior project manager to join our busy and dynamic team based in our Richmond Hill, Toronto service office.

Why we need you:

You’ll be leading a portfolio of complex initiatives that span one or multiple lines of business and providing on-site leadership for project team by building and motivating team members to meet project goals, adhering to their responsibilities and project landmarks. You’ll be immersed in the full project life cycle ownership: successful project delivery will include full implementation from initiation to deployment for one major or several minor initiatives at a time.

Who are we looking for:

You’ll have extensive in-depth experience running complex projects along with excellent experience in SDLC Methodologies, Agile, SCRUM, SDLC / Waterfall as you’ll be leading all aspects of multiple related projects to ensure the overall program is aligned to and directly supports the achievement of strategic objectives and reporting on success criteria results, metrics, test and deployment management activities.

You’ll be working creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating collaboration, innovation and excellence along with participating in establishing practices, templates, policies, tools and partnerships to expand and mature these capabilities for the organization. So, you’ll have strong leadership, diplomatic and motivational skills including the ability to lead up, across and down multiple business and technology organizations.

You’ll be managing the day-to-day project activities and resources and chair the project management team meetings whilst providing status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverable, dependencies, risks and issues, communicating across leadership. You’ll have proven experience in project management, including tracking and planning projects, along with shown experience of working with business stakeholders within a cross-functional matrix environment and extensive experience with full product lifecycle with understanding of development lifecycle and various technology methodologies that support that lifecycle.

As the ideal candidate, you will have:

Intermediate level of proficiency with MS Project, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint and SharePoint with experience presenting to stakeholders and / or Senior Leadership as you deliver appropriate and effective executive level communication. You’ll also have excellent interpersonal skills to influence and spur change, facilitate and enhance performance within a cross - functional environment and can demonstrate decisiveness in resolving business problems, making decisions and identifying priorities. PMP designation is an asset PMP designation is an asset.
