The role: Senior Paid Search Team Lead

Why we need you: -
Working as part of the Stars Group Paid Search Team, you will be responsible for implementation of the strategy, planning and execution for Poker and Casino, whilst managing a team of two PPC Specialists.
Reporting to our Department Head of PPC, you will develop individual objectives, team strategy and roadmaps in collaboration with the PPC Senior Strategist. You will be responsible for campaign execution and day to day operations, budget planning and forecasting. Managing collaboration with search engine and third-parties’ partners (Google, Bing, Apple, Marin etc.) to ensure that best practice is implemented across all activity and the team is included in all relevant new products/features. You will also oversee multivariate and A|B testing: implementation; analysis and communication of results, conclusions and insight recommendation to key stakeholders within the business.
You will look to find innovative ways within your search accounts to enhance performance or find efficiencies in time. You will be responsible for implementation of the Paid Search strategy and managing performance of the PPC channel (Google Search, Google Play, Bing, Apple Search Ads) and leading cross-functional collaboration with other marketing channels on broader strategic initiatives.
You will play a key role in building clear roadmaps for activity across your markets. Compiling and reporting on campaign effectiveness to senior management, including competitive landscape, KPIs and recommendations on opportunities for growth. You will also look after tracking and reporting activity, ensuring on-site tracking and bid management tech solutions are working well.
Who are we looking for: -
We are looking for an individual who is as passionate about search marketing as we are! You will need to have experience with automation tools like Marin. You will need strong technical and analytical skills and proven experience in an online marketing background – with direct experience of managing large scale paid search campaigns.
You will need to be a strong team leader with excellent inter-personal skills and a proven ability to work to strict deadlines coupled with excellent attention to detail able to work effectively in a highly complex, diverse, changing environment. Additional language skills i.e. French is highly desirable.
As the ideal candidate, you will have: -
Demonstrable understanding of the principles of optimisation for natural search. Google Adwords professional qualification – part or fully qualified would be a distinct advantage.
