The role: Senior Marketing Manager MMD UK
We are looking for a Senior Marketing Manager to join our fast-growing Group Marketing - Commercial team, based in our Leeds service office.

Why we need you: -
We need you to be responsible for managing the Stars Group’s business development in the UK for Poker, Casino and Sportsbook brands. This role requires a deep knowledge of media planning and analysis, and strong business development skills. You will project manage highly complex campaigns in different countries and channels. You need to be a recognized gaming expert, or have a very strong interest in the industry coupled with proven results in similarly highly regulated, digital businesses.
You will take ownership for managing, reporting and prioritizing market development activities in the region in line with group management’s strategy and plans. You will be responsible for leading the team towards a regional view of business, effectively assigning tasks based on the Stars Group’s priorities, specialization and efficiency of the resources.
You will develop and maintain relationships with local media agency, preparing the local media strategy for Group approval, and execute media plans for all verticals, optimising the budget allocated by the verticals. You will be responsible for TV campaign briefing, analysis, pre/post ROI evaluation, dynamic learning and reporting the results. You will identify and manage new business opportunities (sponsorships, partners, payments, TV integration, AFPs, co-marketing deals etc.) growing a network of marketing companies providing business opportunities in the region.
You will provide regular ongoing communication with the Business Development team on licensing/ regulation progress and opportunities and provide regular competitor analysis on product to Market Intelligence team, and on the competitor marketing activities to the MMD Media team.
Who are we looking for: -
We are looking for a highly experienced marketing professional, preferably with a background in an online gaming operator. You should have media planning and analysis skills (TV, digital, social media) and expert business development and project management skills. You should have a strong network of contacts in the UK media industry and be flexible to travel. Another European language a plus.
You will need to be a collaborative team player with the ability to foster good working relationships. You should have strong communication and project management skills and be well organised with the ability to multi-task and prioritise various projects.
As the ideal candidate, you will have: -
Gaming experience: product (Sportsbook, Casino, Poker), regulation and compliance. You should be experience in executing co-marketing deals, sponsorships, media partnerships, branded content with strong analytical and financial planning skills.
