The role: Senior Manager - Social Analytics and Insight

Why we need you: -
We are an in-house creative agency which provides service to the teams producing the Stars Group global and local advertising across TV, press, digital and social for our product verticals (Poker, Sportsbook and Casino). Reporting to our Department Head of Social, your role will be to assist the Stars Group with insight development and execution of social strategy.
We are seeking an action orientated individual with a solid understanding of social media analytics, optimization, audience insights and data lead content generation. This role is at the forefront of how the Stars Group engages with both its potential customers and customers at every part of their digital and social journey. This could range from improving effectiveness and efficiency of communications in social, to the profiling of audiences based on their fellowships and spheres of influence, to how the Stars Group ensures our customer service teams have the very best intel on social influential individuals. The role will help the Group evolve and innovate within all social channels.
As part of the content marketing team, you will be responsible for mapping out of audience segmentations, discovering insights and identifying opportunities through the use of statistical, algorithmic, visualization technique (from both native data and performance marketing platforms such as Sprinklr Audience / listening modules and Google Analytics). This role is part of redefining the role of social within the Stars Group’s business as we accelerate the journey and lead innovation within the category. You will help to communicate our social measurement strategy, driving through the Group’s social measurement process and delivering against a varied set of analysis and reporting requirements. Harnessing both structured and unstructured data, and addressing themselves to reporting, analysis and social listening, the ideal candidate will seek out key insights and deliver recommendations to Stars Group management in order to add meaningful value to the business.
As platform manager of Sprinklr, you will be responsible for ensuring all needs of both social, customer service and BI requests are met. These will vary but the heart of what we will be rooted in the content marketing team. As the platform is adopted by other verticals outside of poker, you will facilitate the onboarding and be champion for its adoption, creating similar processes and best practice.
Who are we looking for: -
An individual with extensive experience working in the social analytics space and a firm grasp of both social and wider digital metrics. You should have relevant experience and/or a strong aptitude for crafting measurement strategy, setting social KPIs and creating measurement frameworks. You should be comfortable in a client facing role, and able to work in a multi-disciplined agency environment and confident at dashboard creation, and pulling data from different data sources.
You should preferably have experience working for either a publisher, games brand or a global brand. You will need excellent attention to detail, and very high personal standards when it comes to quality, method and rigour with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
As the ideal candidate, you will have: -
A passion and a curiosity for numbers, online businesses, emerging platforms and social media developments. You should be intellectually curious and tech savvy with advanced Excel skills. We are looking for a Facebook insights native with experience of and/or a strong awareness of Sprinklr social media listening and social management tools. Any additional experience working in primary research or web analytics would be highly desirable.
