We are looking for a Senior Learning Partner to be an integral part of the Learning and wider Global HR team in the pursuit of becoming a centre of excellence.
Why we need you:
You will lead the designated region of the Group for the entire learning process, working closely with the organisation’s leadership team. Your main responsibility will be acting as a learning adviser to senior leaders and managers for the identification of needs, supply of appropriate interventions and evaluation of impact/ROI.
The role requires flexibility regarding work schedules to accommodate business needs. In addition, the role also requires travel to other offices for training purposes.
Who are we looking for:
We're looking for you to create, design and deliver the statutory, mandatory, developmental and organisational learning requirements for new and existing staff. You will take full responsibility for the learning plan for the region and be running specific units within the Leadership Development Programme. You will interpret, create, design and facilitate learning solutions to support the organisational change and development outlined in the overall Learning strategy. You'll be using a blend of methodologies including computer based, self-managed learning, remote delivery, management cascade, classroom and on job learning as appropriate.
Having a real passion for learning delivery you will also be involved in the facilitation of our in-house learning to a consistently high standard for people, Managers, Senior Managers within our Toronto office and any other jurisdictions as required.
You will have knowledge of formally assessing work in accordance with an external accredited body criteria to enable progression of learner journey towards qualification. Be able to create original and creative learning material (including e-learning) whilst handling the local learning budget spend. Experience of being able to develop, coach and offer 1 to 1 support for Senior Managers and Leaders across the Group will require an effective communicator and influencer. This will allow you to identify any learning gaps and communicate any issues to the business. As a global leader we’re always looking to research and pilot new learning methods and for our employees to develop their own practice through continuous improvement within the learning field.
As the ideal candidate, you will have:
- Experience of design and delivering Professional Management Development Programmes such as ILM or CMI
- Experience of assessment of learner work
- High level of planning and organisation skills
- Significant experience of delivering learning at senior management level
- Professional postgraduate level coaching qualification
- Evidence of development of original learning material and best practice around content creation (including e-learning)
- Significant Learning experience in a range of development areas
- Must be able to demonstrate ability to interact confidently and with complete credibility at all levels
- Proven hands-on Management experience in a blue chip company
- Graduate/postgraduate level of education or equivalent in a learning or human resources subject area
- A pro-active approach and positive attitude
- Able to travel globally as necessary
