You will have a bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting along with CA or CPA qualifications as you will be identifying and documenting in-scope processes and internal controls to assess adequacy of design, mitigation of risk in accordance with IC PMO methodology and standards. Along with this, you’ll be building excellent working relationships and rapport with applicable management at all levels, to include external partners and auditors so excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills are essential. We will need you to have relevant business experience in finance/accounting with a primary focus in internal or external audit on a public company as this role involves providing your expertise in common in-scope SOX business processes by consulting with management and providing recommendations on best practices to help mitigate financial reporting and compliance risks. You will be involved with assisting with annual planning and scoping activities, as well as interim reporting to management and committees. Along with this, you'll be following up with appropriate business process owners to ensure proper implementation of remediation activities to address internal control deficiencies. With this in mind, excellent analytical, documentation and interpersonal skills, including ability to handle demands from multiple sources amidst tight deadlines is important.
As the ideal candidate, you will have: -
Excellent technical abilities in application of IFRS, COSO, CSOX, SOX, SEC & PCAOB pronouncements along with practical knowledge of requirements related to internal controls & financial reporting as explained in the Sarbanes-Oxley Act. Having industry experience within gaming and/or technology would be a great asset but it is essential you have unquestionable integrity and ethics. Travel of 25-35% of the time will be involved in this role.
