We are looking for a seasoned senior system analyst to join our busy and dynamic team based in our Richmond Hill, Toronto Office.

Why we need you:

You will be playing a key part in growing the Stars Group’s poker business as well as working on various cross-functional integration and enhancements projects. You will prepare and write business requirements and functional specifications. You will also be planning and coordinating project delivery between business units and technical teams.

Your role will involve aspects such as business requirements reviews, functional and visual design, technical requirements documentation, integrations with 3rd parties, UAT planning and execution.

Who are we looking for:

You have vast experience as a systems analyst (BSA) in a large volume development environment. You have experience with both native (desktop, mobile) and web based applications from both UI/UX design as well as integration and deployment perspective. You have been involved in all aspects of software development – from ideation and high-level business requirements capturing to testing, integration, deployment and post-deployment support. You’ll have shown experience as a systems analyst or solution architect, with a focus on customer facing client-server applications. You’ll also be experienced with producing functional documentation from scratch or based on high level business cases in both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.

You have very strong ability in written and oral communication – able to get your points across to both business stakeholders and technical leads. You are a problem solver; able to multi-task on several projects at a time as well as being someone who can find resolutions to conflict easily. You’ll be knowledgeable with producing business process diagrams and data flows to describe business requirements along with proven knowledge of producing mockups and UI/UX diagrams.

As the ideal candidate, you will have:

If you have experience in poker, casino, sportsbook or video game development that is a great bonus, though not a necessity. An added benefit would be experience with the following:

  • Win/Mac/iOS/Android native client development
  • Producing consistent requirements for multiple client platforms
  • With development of internal tools and reporting frameworks
