We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join our busy and dynamic team based in our Leeds office.

What you will do:

You will work with and elicit requirements from a wide range of teams around the business, including those in the Isle of Man, Dublin, Toronto and elsewhere.  You’ll need to be able to think about how some of our most complex technical and functional problems can be solved and be able to move from the ‘big picture’ to the detail easily. Investigate solutions using a range of approaches, working closely with architects, developers and business users. You should also be able to strongly recommend the right approach to business stakeholders.

Converting business and customer requirements (both functional and non-functional) into user stories and acceptance criteria that technology teams can understand and act upon to iteratively build product features. Covert longer term business requirements into more speculative ‘whitepaper’ style documents that show not just the immediate future but also how you see systems and technologies working together over a number of years. Be able to work with development teams to organise and run inception sessions and technical breakdown sessions when needed and to package these up into releases and iterations that deliver value as we go. End-to-end management of specific product features and services or technical delivery (e.g. regulatory, customer deployment plans) to deliver first class experiences, strong engagement and revenues.

You will identify & understand both the technical &  business change which will be critical as part of delivery & rollout of product features. Working without boundaries to ensure your product area delivers best-in-class features rapidly, to a high-quality and sustainably by utilising both product and business analysis skills.  You will be a role model and an amazing colleague demonstrating an analytical, experimental approach to solving problems and investigating opportunities.

How you will do it

We are looking for an individual of potential, with relevant analyst experience in a highly technical and complex environments.  Key skills and experience should include strong business analysis skills, including communication of business requirements via user stories and appropriate diagramming techniques (qualifications in this area would be advantageous) An understanding of customer interactions and user journeys on transactional digital products and demonstrating a passion for continually improving customer experience. You will be a  Business Analyst, experienced within a lean / agile development methodology. You will have the ability to simplify complex problems, processes , system interactions or projects into component parts and be able to explore and evaluate them systematically. Have the ability to understand cross functional business areas to elicit requirements. You will be someone who quickly understands business issues and technical challenges on a project. Understand the Product Management Lifecycle / Process. You are naturally collaborative, and with a desire to be part of a highly successful team rather than just a highly successful individual. You will be able to effectively manage expectations of stakeholders. Can effectively present options and recommendations to stakeholders.
