Job Purpose

The Intern programme launched in 2015 and, after four successful years with high demand, we’re going to be back, bigger and better for 2019 with a Research & Analytics Internship up for grabs in our HR Tech team.

The Research & Analytics Intern will help support our Reward & HR Tech team with a number of key projects which we want to instigate & deliver on during 2019-2020. The successful candidate will work closely with the HR Tech team to learn how the overall department works so to ensure our service delivery is reviewed, challenged & working as effectively as possible.

We have designed this programme with you, the student, at the heart of everything, ensuring you gain maximum exposure and experience throughout the twelve-month placement, something not all placements can offer.

Your Responsibilities

Day-to-day project management:

  • HR Analytics – working with HR Tech team on reviewing current reporting and data benchmarking processes, research best practice and competitors, identify most appropriate tools/platforms to execute recommendations, develop project plan and timelines
  • Work with the HR Tech team to develop standard and ad hoc reports, templates, dashboards, scorecards, and metrics.
  • Research, analyse, and present data, ensuring the quality of reporting, working with the analytics team
  • Extracting and analysing very large and multi-dimensional data sets, working closely with internal units to drive insights.
  • To develop and maintain relationships with across all business unit and internally within HR.

What do we need from you?


  • Current University student studying a business-related degree in a 4-year graduate programme requiring a sandwich placement
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Excel
  • Highly motivated self-starter & a positive can-do attitude
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Able to handle confidential information
  • Strong analytical and decision making skills
  • Well organised with the ability to multi-task and prioritise key projects
  • Good presentation skills
