The role: Regional IT Support Manager

We are looking for a Regional IT Support Manager to join our busy and dynamic team based in our Dublin service office.

Why we need you:

On this position, you`ll deliver and manage the provision of local IT Support in conjunction with the central IT Service Desk, provide support for local IT Infrastructure under the guidance of the central NetOps and IT Systems teams and contribute to the delivery of global support to other regional offices.

You will be the local face of IT providing an excellent level of IT service and support to the local office. You`ll lead the local IT Support team and ensure work schedules are included. You`ll perform endpoint software and hardware servicing and support and whenever needed server, networking and infrastructure support as requested. You`ll contribute and update supporting documentation, policies and processes where necessary and provide sufficient information to team members when assigning and escalating tickets. You`ll communicate IT messages, requirements, feedback etc. between local office and central IT Operational functions. You`ll support IT Administrations with hardware, software and licensing procurement and asset management.

As part of the IT Operations management team you`ll have the opportunity to visit other exciting service office locations.

Who are we looking for:

You have significant relevant experience gained within a similar IT environment and demonstrable evidence of managing, motivating and developing a small technical support team coupled with delivering consistently high quality service and support

You have strong multi-tasking and IT service skills. You easily communicate with both technical and non-technical team members. You have strong networking and infrastructure skills and understanding of Data Centre requirements. You have in-depth understanding of business requirements and ability to translate these into technical requirement and ability to explain technical requirement, policies, standard and process to local business teams and management.

You have excellent problem solving skills and ability to work to demanding timescales with all management levels. You can prioritize and work within tight time scales in order to meet deadlines. You are a self-starter able to make progress with minimal supervision. You are a strong team player with mindful of attention to detail.

You hold Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician in Windows 7 qualification and have working experience with Microsoft Windows 7 in a Windows Server domain environment. You have excellent understanding of IT Security and risk mitigation and strong grounding in IT communications and networking solutions and protocols.

As the ideal candidate, you will have:

As a perfect candidate, you have good knowledge of ITIL. You have worked with virtual environments such as VDI, Apple computers on a Windows Domain and Asterisk PBX. Our support team works with on-call schedule and as part of the team you`ll have to be available to work out of standard working hours.
