We are looking for a React Developer to join our busy and dynamic team based in our Hammersmith service office.

This is an opportunity to join Oddschecker’s growing development team. Our international sites are live in Australia, Italy, Spain and Germany to date and we are about to embark on our next conquest to bring Oddschecker to the United States.

As a React developer you will be utilising your JavaScript skills to build, maintain and be part of an agile squad with the customer at the centre of everything.

Who are we looking for:

You will be building maintainable, testable, resilient software systems including monitoring and operational impact throughout the process. We are using the latest cloud technologies and you`ll be able to utilize them in large data sets and meaningful projects.

The end to end software delivery process will be your main responsibility and teams of architects and senior developers will be there to help you design the system. You`ll be taking major part in the improving coding standards and processes for the team and the entire company.

As the ideal candidate, you will have:

You should be up for a challenge, proficient in working as part of a team, and someone who has a keen interest in sports and the betting industry.

As a web development expert, you will have proven experience with React and modern ES6 Javascript and in hand-coding skills with HTML/HTML5, CSS/CSS3/SASS. You will have had exposure to Agile environment on fast developing products. You are most likely also familiar with some front-end build tools such as Webpack, Gulp, Gitlab & GIT.

At some point in your experience you have been in position of owning the development and delivery of customer facing features and functionality. You have in-depth knowledge of frontend state management concepts and Redux style libraries. Another requirement for the role is experience with single app architecture and cross-browser development techniques. We are following the best practices in delivering quality code and exposure to TDD and Testing Frameworks e.g. Jest, Chai, Jasmine etc is also a requirement.

Any experience with Typescript and functional programming aspects of Javascript will be an advantage. Another advantage will be if you have worked with server side technologies (Node) and noSQL databases (MongoDB).
