Job Purpose

The Isle of Man Software Verification & Quality Assurance Team is part of the Stars Group which is the ultimate owner of industry-leading gaming brands such as PokerStars, PokerStars Casino, BetStars, Full Tilt, and the PokerStars Live brands.  Collectively, these and other brands of The Stars Group have millions of registered customers globally, forming one of the world’s largest publicly listed online gaming companies.

The Isle of Man QA team looks after a selection of the group’s offerings, and as a member of our team, your focus will be the Social Casino applications; to ensure that these products meet the highest level of quality

Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the day to day allocation and priorities of tasks.
  • General testing activities, ensuring applications meet requirements
  • Work with product managers and stakeholders to review specifications and acceptance criteria
  • Proactively provide updates and report on all testing activities in a timely manner
  • Oversee test plans and specifications creation in-line with test strategies
  • Assist in resolving technical issues encountered by the team

Skills and Capabilities
Essential
  • Have at least 2 years of experience of testing mobile applications or website in an Agile environment
  • Have an understanding of Agile development methodologies - Scrum, Kanban.
  • Have experience with of cross browser and mobile responsive testing across a wide range of browsers / mobile devices would be highly advantageous
  • Have experience of analyzing functional and technical specifications to derive test cases and scenarios
  • Have experience of writing and executing manual test scripts, ensuring all test coverage is met and design tests to mitigate potential risk
  • Have a flexible attitude towards constantly changing project priorities whilst test activities are in flight
  • Have experience of using software bug tracking tools (Eg JIRA)
