We are looking for a build engineer to join our busy and dynamic team in our Richmond Hill, Toronto office.

You’ll be reviewing functional and design specifications to ensure full understanding of individual deliverables along with identifying test requirements from specifications, map test case requirements and design test coverage plans.
Who are we looking for:
You’ll be developing, documenting and maintaining functional test cases and other test artefacts as well as executing the agreed set of test cases, in line with the test design and the release schedule, clearly and accurately reporting test results and progress. Shown experience in QA in a large scale interactive environment is needed as is experience with testing Client/Server, Web and Mobile Applications.
You’ll ensure that validated deliverables meet the specifications and requirements as well as identifying any potential issues per defined process and raise immediately to management. Browser based testing experience with IE, Chrome, Safari, and Firefox browsers and debugging tools is critical as is working knowledge of SQL language, ability to write RDBMS queries.
You will consult the production support team regarding production issues along with work with systems and DBA teams on miscellaneous IT infrastructure projects so strong communication skills are important. You’ll be analyzing business documents to understand and resolve any gaps in requirements along with facilitating test plan/case reviews with cross-functional team members.
Good knowledge of QA Testing Methodologies and proven ability to define, write and execute test case scenarios is meaningful as you’ll be working closely with development and business teams to reproduce, prioritize and monitor defects to provide test status updates to various stakeholders.
As the ideal candidate, you will have:
Experience with planning and coordination with different functional teams (Development, Project Management, and Business Analyst) would be beneficial as would experience with Jenkins and other software deployment tools along with knowledge of Git, Jira, Confluence and other Software industry tool.
An added benefit would be experience working with QA teams in different geographic locations along with knowledge of testing of 3rd party integration tools, SDKs, Perl or other scripting language. Online gaming experience in Poker, Casino or Sports would be an asset.
