We are looking for a QA Analyst to join our busy and dynamic team based in our Austin office.

Why we need you:

You will be curious by nature, passionate about quality testing, and willing to go the extra mile to find defects before our internal and external customers do. You will act as the quality advocate for our internal clients and customers, looking beyond simple Pass/Fail states to identify usability issues and make recommendations for functional improvements. You must display strong analytical skills that, combined with domain and product knowledge, will guarantee the most efficient planning and effectiveness in delivering our rapidly expanding product offering.

Who are we looking for:

You are technically-minded with excellent written and spoken communication skills, as well as the ability to work in an agile and collaborative manner. You’ll be maintaining a high level of quality assurance for client/server application by applying testing processes to new and existing products, related but not limited to online gaming so mobile QA experience is important, with at least one shipped title. Experience testing on both iOS and Android platforms is imperative as you’ll be analysing business documents to understand and determine any gaps in requirements along with crafting, maintaining and executing test cases.

You’ll need a deep understanding of Client/Server architecture and how QA is performed on these systems as you identify defects and minimize steps to reproduce. You’ll also be reviewing and investigating server log errors so good knowledge of QA testing methodologies is vital. Basic understanding of SQL language statements and ability to write RDBMS queries is important as is a proven ability to define, write and execute test case scenarios.

You will be working on multiple projects and priorities with minimal supervision while working under tight deadlines so attention to detail is important as is experience with standard web server load testing utilities. Some level of browser based testing experience with IE, Chrome, Safari, and Firefox browsers and debugging tools will be helpful. You’ll be logging detailed bugs into a defect tracking tool and working closely with development and business teams to reproduce, prioritize and monitor defects so experience with standard web server load testing utilities along with online gaming knowledge or experience is significant.

As the ideal candidate, you will have:

You’ll be providing test status updates to various stakeholders so experience with planning and coordination with different functional teams (development, project management, and business analyst) in different locations so experience in small teams and working in a regulated industry is beneficial. Experience with testing of 3rd party integration tools and SDKs is useful too as is passion about sports.
