We are looking for a QA analyst with strong poker knowledge to join our busy and dynamic team based in our Richmond Hill, Toronto office.
What will you be doing?
You'll be working alongside other QA Analysts to maintain a high standard of quality for our new and existing core poker products by reviewing functional and design specifications in order to identify testing requirements and ensure a full grasping of work. This entails working closely with product owners and developers.
You will execute test cases across different platforms, including server, desktop Windows/Mac clients, mobile Android/iOS clients, and web clients. You will be verifying actual results against expected results and ensuring that application logs are free of errors and database tables contain valid data.
You will be identifying missed requirements, requirement gaps, and functional bugs. Along with documenting and prioritizing these issues and verifying that they are fixed in a timely manner.
You will collaborate with our Production Support team by reproducing issues and investigating server and client logs when needed. You will be attending project meetings and providing detailed status reports and updates on the work you're doing.
Who are we looking for?
You have online poker experience and a solid understanding of many different poker games. You can identify potential issues and write and execute appropriate test cases for them.
You'll have strong logical and analytical skills and the ability to think clearly and flexibly, as well as able to multitask and balance multiple projects and priorities with minimal supervision.
You'll need superb communication skills and the ability to articulate issues and results in a clear, concise, and precise manner, both verbally and in writing. You must be a dedicated and supportive teammate and be willing to help where and when help is needed.
You'll have some quality assurance or technical experience, such as testing client/server applications or desktop/mobile/web clients, providing production support, investigating application logs, or experience with a programming language or SQL.
You'll need a post-secondary degree, preferably with a background in computer science, mathematics, or a related field. Along with this, you'll be curious by nature, passionate about poker and quality assurance, and willing to contribute to finding defects before our customers do.
What's in it for you?
