Publisher Business Development Manager

Job Purpose

As a Publisher Business Development Manager you will be responsible for prospecting and growing the network of publishers. A successful candidate will bring a proven background in acquiring new business and will have strong and demonstrable skills in cold calling, sales pitches and general business development. You will then monitor, optimize and incubate these new relationships to help with increasing our revenue and margins, along with cultivating a strong and productive relationship with our partners.

Key Responsibilities

You’ll be vital to the continued expansion of our business around the world, you’ll work with a fantastic international team, you will be in charge of the heart of the business and you’ll be rewarded for excellence.

  • Responsible for prospects for new clients and react to inbound customer requests.
  • Secure new publishers by contacting Premium – medium size publishers.
  • Meet or exceed market growth goals by managing your pipeline and live accounts 
  • Contribute to building the brand and community in your Markets.
  • Pursue both individual and team goals.
  • Share your best practices and benefit from those of your colleagues.
  • Develop client relationships at all levels.
  • Closely track industry and product trends to stay at the top of your game.
  • Analyse data and use it to effectively generate business.

Skills and Capabilities


  • Publisher’s Business development experience required and client facing relationship would be appreciated
  • Proven sales and client service track record, ideally in a tech-related field
  • Comprehensive sales cycle experience from discovery to prospecting to sign-on
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation and persuasive skills across all levels
  • Fluent English both spoken and written
  • Ability to work and deliver strong results in a dynamic environment
  • Passion for new media, internet trends and continual learning
  • Strong knowledge of all core MS Office applications
