We are looking for a Product Owner to join our busy and dynamic team based in our Leeds service office.
Product Owners are the key stage between the selection of ideas and the development of that into a product concept through to delivered value for our customers as a finished deployed / useable product or feature. Most of the customers and stakeholders that will be the lead contacts for discussions are based within the trading/business development parts of our Sportsbook, although we take ideas from any source e.g. Casino, Poker, etc.
Why we need you: -
The PO accepts an idea from the Head of Product on a prioritised investigation basis and takes the concept from initial assignment through all the processes of work to final acceptance. You will be expected to gate the process through Head of Product, using the One Pager, initially and once agreed to provide the prioritisation of development within the squad. Where the product is developed across development squads then you will be expected to seek agreement from the other squad POs and to have those dependencies delivered in a way which removes dependency within Sprints while ensuring that the value created is harvested as fast as possible.
Who are we looking for: -
You`ll provide detail of epic and prioritization of value. You`ll initiate detailed discussions with stakeholders. You`ll write One Pager and updates. You`ll agree with Head of Product to enter the product into the Trello process for full development. You`ll provide the development path and tracks through Trello to completion. You`ll work the initial 3 Amigos process for initial high-level story planning and onto JIRA with BA. You`ll ensure BA tracking through JIRA and development of links to EPICS ticket planning, building requirements and discussing with the PO. You`ll maintain the communication always regarding scope/MVP/MMF with stakeholders. Regularly you`ll update values and metrics and provide show and tell on progress, use that process to prioritise and manage backlog. You`ll work with the team's embedded BA and development team on the detail of the tasks per story/feature. You`ll make the case for suspending development on a product when other priorities offer a greater return. You`ll provide the metrics on post product deployment to evaluate actual value / metric achievement against projected. You`ll ensure that the Backlog and prioritization reflect the best value and communicates and manages timing and continuation of development with the stakeholders.
