We are looking for a Poker Roadmap & Project Manager to join our busy and dynamic team based in our Isle of Man service office.

The Poker Roadmap & Project Manager role is an exciting role within the Poker Product team. The Stars Group are the worldwide leader in poker and operate the largest and most popular poker brands in the world, including PokerStars and FullTilt.
There are a significant number of projects to be delivered in a dynamic and changing environment. It will be expected from you to have a high level of independence, excellent communication, and stakeholder management skills and a strong aptitude for critical thinking and analysis, boundless creativity, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
You will drive the day-to-day management of the process via which the Stars Group allocates Poker development resources to projects for delivery in specific build cycles. The role will coordinate very closely with all Product Owners that require development resources and the technical teams to make sure that tasks are allocated per priority, dev capacities, project needs etc. You will also own the build planning meetings for Poker Product, health track of the builds, monitor exceptions, constantly strive to optimize the process so that the Poker Product team is most efficient and effective in its management of dev resources
You`ll define and implement the tools and methods that facilitate the necessary transparency for the Execs level. The build planning process will be led entirely by you and you`ll ensure that the development tasks match with the development resources. You`ll identify portfolio issues, dependencies and drive mitigation identification with technology partners. It`ll be expected from you to conduct build planning meetings with key product stakeholders on regular basis. You are going to be the point of contact for anything related to development resource planning for the group.
The dashboards about health of the build will be one of your main responsibilities and you will work collaboratively with development teams to constantly drive improvements to key KPIs (throughput, quality etc). The senior management team will rely on your assistance in the management and delivery of the company product roadmap.
For the agreed projects, you`ll ensure that business goals, scopes and deliverables are clearly set out and understood by all stakeholders. You`ll engage in other Group product projects as necessary. You`ll lead multiple projects in parallel with different disciplines and stakeholders.
Who are we looking for:
We are looking for a senior expert with at least 5 years of full-time experience in a project/program management role that has led development resources across multiple projects and teams.
You have in-depth knowledge of software development methodologies and have used different process & document management tools, such as Jira or Confluence. To be able to deliver projects from scratch as a Poker Roadmap & Project Manager you`ll have to be proactive and independent thinker with focus on the details.
Your ability to analyse and decompose complex processes in depth will help you suggest practical working solutions. You have excellent written and oral communication skills, outstanding people approach and ability to support many stakeholders. You are result driven and easily adapt to changes. You also have relevant degree or certification.
As the ideal candidate, you will have:-
Experience working in an international eComm business. Willingness to work long hours as deadlines approach. Experience of leading geographically dispersed development teams located in different time zones. Previous experience of working in a heavily regulated and fast-paced environment.
