The role: Payments Product Manager

We are looking for a Payments Product Manager to join our busy and dynamic Payments Product Management team in our Isle of Man office.

Why we need you:-

As Payments Product Manager you will be covering a wide variety of areas related to the payments offerings across the Groups platforms. The position requires involvement in the product life cycle from identifying and evaluating payments product to drafting business requirements through to release and managing the payments product to its full maturity.  You’ll be required to post release activities involving product launch and value measurement as well as managing the configuration settings for the payment solutions and cashier features.

You will have a strong focus and understanding of customer needs and behaviours and steer the product experience to address these. Whilst, also creating product functional specifications in accordance with business objectives and own the project through software development and testing.

You’ll prepare and maintain product documentation, for distribution within the team and stakeholders, while also maintaining regular communication with stakeholders, sharing new developments and obtaining feedback and/or signoff as required. You are required to have a strong focus on understanding quality indicators and KPIs (key performance indicators) with the ability to monitor and initiate investigations/analysis when needed.

As Payment Product Manager you will have ownership of the existing payment methods. Whilst also being the expert for your given solutions by knowing them inside out.  You’ll be responsible for the success of the products by knowing how they will work best for the business and making sure that suppliers deliver on the often stringent demands expected by the company.

You are required to work closely with the cashier platform team and the business development team on the payment methods offering within the Cashier. As well as, working closely with operations and other internal teams to plan, deploy and manage payment methods and features within the Cashier.

Who are we looking for:-

  • A passionate driven individual with an appreciation for delightful products
  • Relevant experience in product management for the online payment processing or ecommerce industry.
  • Educated to degree level in a business or technology discipline
  • You will have knowledge of software development lifecycles, multiple development styles and methodologies with a strong interest and aptitude in defining business requirements for software development.
  • You will have understanding of payment gateways, APIs to onboard payment solutions
  • You will be comfortable working with and analysing data to create meaningful insights
  • You will have excellent communication, relationship management and attention to detail skills with strong customer services skills.
  • You will have the ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines and have a can-do attitude.

As the ideal candidate, you will have:-

Experience working within the online gaming industry and understand the current industry trend, as well as experience/qualification in project management is desirable. Having experience working with Google Analytics, Microstrategy, Grafana, Jira and Confluence is also a plus.
