The role: Internal Security Analyst

We are looking for an Internal Security Analyst to join our busy and dynamic Internal Audit team in our Leeds office.

Why we need you:-

You will be responsible for protecting the Group and players from staff related frauds or abuses throughout the business, undertaking continuous monitoring, investigating and project-based activities. You’ll complete thorough and methodical continuous monitoring of internal financial and gaming system transactions and staff activity using prescribed tools and methodology across all Group brands. Please note that you will be asked to assist in providing partial weekend/public holiday cover on a rostered basis.

You will undertake thorough and careful investigations and tests of transactions, postings, and other account changes in Group systems documenting findings and results in team logs for external review. You’ll also develop an understanding of functions and reports in back office gaming software across all Group brands and contribute to enhancement of team procedures and duties.

You’ll undertake administrative tasks such as database cleansing and record checks. As well as liaising promptly with operational staff and/or managers around the business where applicable to understand and justify staff’s activities or transitions in our systems and business. You will assist on internal security project execution and investigations.

Who are we looking for:-

You will have very good secondary education results (A level or equivalent) and strong numerical ability. You’ll have the highest integrity, honesty, confidentiality, common-sense and self-awareness. Whilst also, strong organisational skills with the ability to manage own workloads and prioritise important tasks.

This role requires you to have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a keen eye for detail, tenacity, dedication to quality. You must be able to meet tight deadlines without compromising quality of output and be an enquiring mind, desire for getting things right.

You will have strong computer literacy and quick to learn new systems and processes and offer improvements. As well as, investigative skills and a logical approach to work. You will be able to cross reference and quickly interpret a multitude of information to aid decision making. Whilst also having previous experience of dealing with customers and stakeholders in a large corporate environment.

As the ideal candidate, you will have:-

A relevant business degree or experience in fraud prevention or monitoring and related activities, with advanced IT skills in Microsoft Excel, reporting programs, databases and data interrogation is desirable.

Knowledge of online gaming, online poker, banking or other financial services experience, as well as, being self-motivated and able to work well alone or as part of a team is a plus.
