Why we need you: -
We need you to become a trusted advisor to the business to deliver a comprehensive HR service by providing high quality, strategic HR advice and guidance. Your role is to help support our business in developing our people to reach their maximum potential and creating an environment which gives our people a world class employment experience.
You will coach and support managers and our people throughout the employee lifecycle including; onboarding, performance management and exit interviews. You’ll work to help equip our managers to address performance management issues and assist where necessary to ensure people are working to their full capacity and capability. You will provide guidance, challenge and support as part of the calibration process at year-end, ensuring a fair and consistent approach is followed.
As part of your role, you will act as a change agent within the business supporting our managers and people through advising on organisational design, preparing our people and executing any OD plans. You will partner and support managers on employee relations issues in line with company policies and procedures to include attendance management, performance management, and disciplinary issues within the US.
You will be responsible for fostering and maintaining excellent relationships with key stakeholders including managers, strategic partners, learning and development and the wider HR teams. You will support the HR Manager on ad-hoc projects and initiatives. Managing projects and partnering closely with local and global HR teams on company initiatives including wellness initiatives and providing outstanding support to employees within our US locations on day to day HR related matters.
Who are we looking for: -
An experienced HR Business Partner, used to working in a fast-paced working environment. Ideally, you will have a relevant HR professional qualification/ membership. You should be very familiar with US employment law and have direct experience coaching and supporting people managers.
We are looking for a proactive individual with excellent communication and problem solving skills. You should be able to lead by example and work well as part of a team. You’ll need excellent communication and listening skills to understand people’s needs and the ability to have impact and influence at all levels.
As the ideal candidate, you will have: -
Previous experience gained within a multinational company. Working knowledge of US immigration and visas petitions and exposure to and/or working knowledge of multi-state employment laws, would be advantageous.
Any knowledge or experience within the online gaming industry or project management experience, would be desirable.
