The role: Graduate DevOps Engineer
We are looking for a Graduate DevOps Engineer to join our busy and dynamic Global Sportsbook Trading Platform team based in our Leeds office.

It’s your chance to work on greenfield developments where you’ll build and run new products that will ultimately be used by millions around the world, building on your career so far and learning new tech skills to solve problems that only exist at this scale.
Your main focuses with be on:
- Automation and infrastructure-as-code
- Non-functional parameters and how to build good applications
- Security and stability and the code patterns that produce it
- Release strategies
- Monitoring and in-life problem solving
- Continuous improvement
You will be advising on operational matters and automation work, driving best practice on non-functionals within the squads. Whilst also advising on good monitoring metrics and visualisations. You’ll be required to encourage the squads to complete patching, security tickets as well as, having good visibility of their estate.
Who we are looking for: -
You’ll have experience using at least one scripting language and show a passion for working within DevOps. You will have a background in either the tech, sysadmin or infrastructure background or be a graduate with a relevant degree.
As the ideal candidate, you will have: -
Knowledge of the following, as this would be beneficial:
- Kotlin (JVM)
Experience in monitoring and alerting, as well as, infrastructure-as-code is also a plus. Understanding of Linux system administration, system security, networks and environments and an appreciation of non-fuctional requirements and tesing is also nice to have.
