We are looking for an Employer Brand Specialist to join our busy and dynamic Employer Brand team in our Leeds office.

Why we need you:-

We need a hardworking and enthusiastic individual for our team. You will work closely with Talent Acquisition (TA) to help position The Stars Group as an outstanding place to work and make it easier to attract, engage and hire the best talent!

What would make us different to our competitors and what can set us more apart as the best gaming company to work for? How can we improve our candidate-facing communications and what is the best way to convey our culture and tell employee stories? You will conduct research that allows us to identify what makes us attractive to candidates and put forward research-compelled suggestions on how we can demonstrate this, regularly seeing how your input shapes the development of the department!

You will engage with hiring managers and colleagues from TA to develop sourcing strategies that meet current and future hiring needs. You will also work along side the Employer Brand Manager to help develop and successfully maintain our employee value proposition (EVP) with a focus on key locations although also making suggestions for our wider EVP.

Whilst not an exhaustive list, you can expect to get involved in the following:

  • Researching the talent market to find relevant audiences, evaluate trends, recommend new technology and find opportunities to differentiate our overall employer brand
  • Research any competitors and industry leaders in employer branding
  • Finding the best candidate sources
  • Suggest ideas for the engagement programs’
  • Localising EVP
  • Ensure employer brand and materials are aligned with corporate brand standards and are authentic to the companies culture
  • Partner with colleagues in TA to balance recruiting media/advertising spend based on budget and business hiring needs. In addition, manage existing creative and discover opportunities for refreshed employer brand content

Who are we looking for:-

You’ll have a lot of experience with a range of marketing and social media channels with strong content production skills. For this role, you’ll need to be an excellent writer with outstanding storytelling abilities across a variety of channels; including video, careers website, advertising, events, earned media etc.

We will be looking for someone with a keen eye for business and understanding of performance metrics as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills.

You will have strong ability to think logically and creatively to develop solutions and come up with innovative ideas, as well as being able to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously and to meet deadlines.

As the ideal candidate, you will have:-

Appropriate office experience; working within a branding/marketing, human resource or talent acquisition recruitment role or being degree educated is desirable. Experience working in a technology, marketing or gaming business is also a plus.
