The role: Digital Media Planner Buyer
We are looking for a Digital Media Planner Buyer to join our rapidly expanding Performance Marketing team, based in our Leeds office.

Why we need you:
You will be responsible for taking care of our day-to-day advertising campaign management activities across digital marketing channels. As the right candidate, you will negotiate, implement and optimize marketing campaigns with strong focus on audience reach and performance. You will play a key role to help the Stars Group devise and execute cutting edge digital advertising to drive new customer awareness and subscriptions to our market leading products and brands.
You'll be monitoring large budgets and relationships with media owners to drive performance via sophisticated display activities, whilst identifying new growth opportunities and increase relevant traffic to our products. You will plan, negotiate, recommend, develop and lead global digital marketing campaigns with a large panel of websites and mobile applications, directly with media owners, through programmatic platforms and/or through our media agency (Standard display, Mobile, Digital Video, VOD).
Part of this role involves you monitoring assigned budgets and devising ways of spending efficiently, whilst undertaking media planning, media buying and media analysis. This role involves constant optimization of global and local display campaigns to meet KPIs. You will help define and implement display ideas to promote all our web properties (mobile and desktop) as well as prospecting, remarketing strategies and existing player reengagement strategies. You will manage and report on campaign performance. You will test creative messaging, landing pages and campaigns to optimise performance continuously and use data to drive decision-making process.
You will collaborate with teams across the Stars Group to ideate, influence and implement initiatives that will promote our mobile app and desktop software to current and potential customers. Managing and helping the Stars Group execute creative process underpinning the advertising strategy and keeping up to date with innovations in digital display advertising and finding innovative ways of targeting mainstream gambling audiences.
Who are we looking for:
An experienced digital marketing professional with knowledge of the display media landscape and understanding of programmatic platforms and buying display media through DSPs (PMP negotiations & Open market). You should have previous experience optimising digital marketing campaigns and be used to working with ad servers and mobile tracking technologies. You'll require experience in campaign strategies, prospecting and remarketing campaigns and be well-used to working with data and data management platforms.
We're looking for a self-starter, capable of working independently as well as part of a busy global team and willing to take the initiative and think creatively. You will need to be results focused and able to work effectively in a highly complex, diverse, changing environment.
As the ideal candidate, you will have:
Fluent in a second / third language.
