The role: Digital Insight Analyst
We are looking for a Digital Insight Analyst to join our busy and dynamic Business Intelligence team in our Leeds office.
Why we need you:-
As a Digital Insight Analyst, you will work closely with our digital and acquisition marketing teams to define their requirements and deliver on their analytical needs. You’ll act as the key stakeholder to the Affiliate marketing team, whilst also be expected to work with and support the other digital marketing teams in the business. You will be asked to take the lead on any modelling projects and will be proactive in driving insights to understand the effectiveness of the acquisition budget through Affiliate and other digital marketing channels.
You will work with large volumes of data to establish actionable insights and deliver recommendations. As well as leading in depth analysis of acquisition spend, you’ll also create reports for a varied audience, establish and track key performance indicators and provide ad-hoc analytical support.
Who are we looking for:-
We are looking for someone with a passion for data and analytics, with experience in digital and marketing analysis and a degree (or equivalent) that is quantitative in nature, such as but not limited to Statistics, Mathematics or Economics. You’ll have experience in working with large data sets and making strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders.
You will have experience working with Affiliate and other digital marketing teams and understand how they form part of online and offline marketing mix, using data to optimize performance.
You’ll have experience with reporting tools such as Google Analytics, Tableau, MicroStrategy or similar, with advanced knowledge of Microsoft office packages. As you will be communicating with various areas of senior management, being able to relay insights to non-technical members of the business is essential.
The nature of our industry requires individuals to be able to work well in a fast-paced environment. You will be someone who demonstrates passion and initiative in their work, whilst striving for personal development.
As the ideal candidate, you will have:-
You’ll have knowledge of digital tracking/ad serving tools such as AdWords, Facebook, Sizmek etc. and how they work. You will be proficient in querying databases such as SQL Server and Google Big Query. Experience with Python or R would be desirable, but training on this will be provided as necessary.
Experience of working or having a genuine interest in the gambling or gaming sectors is a benefit but not essential. Previous experience working with affiliate management systems such as SimilarWeb and IncomeAccess would be an additional plus.
