FOX Bet's launch timing couldn't be better - the regulation of sports betting across the US is now in full flight and forecasted to fuel meteoric growth over the next decade. Within any sports betting business, the marketing team is the heartbeat.

Working in this team, you'll be responsible for delivering:-

  • a relentless pace and volume of campaigns to keep up with live sport
  • Marketing plans across the full range of marketing channels
  • A strong messaging platform communicating to a highly engaged audience around their #1 passion - live sport
  • In particular for this role – a deep understanding of customer needs and how our strategy needs to develop to deliver on those needs

The role:-

You will have responsibility for the overall development and execution of the research function within the FOX Bet organization, and the impact it has on the overarching strategic direction of the business. You will be responsible for building and developing the research function from the ground up, our research strategy, tools and techniques, agencies we work with and how we communicate both inwards and upwards, will all be in your control.

Your role is to deeply understand and clearly communicate the key drivers of sports betting in the US (and in particular the states which FOX Bet are currently active within or could/will become active within in months and years to come).

In doing this, you will work with our central research functions to communicate and develop best practice, manage our agencies closely so that they deliver a full suite of research findings that will develop our understanding of our customer needs, and the trends of the markets they fall within.

In a role of this magnitude, your role will not end at just understanding the needs of the customer, it will transcend deeper into being able to bring this to life for stakeholders both in and outside of the marketing teams – advising and influencing on strategic direction for the business.

This role will act as the lynchpin of understanding our customer needs across the entire business, and as such will require you in time to develop an autonomous team of experienced researchers, who can equally understand and communicate those customer needs across multiple states and multiple gaming verticals.

You’ll have to juggle many projects, for a variety of different stakeholders, who all need to hear what you have to say. In return, you get to see your recommendations turned into products, offers, and advertising enjoyed by millions of people every week. You will deliver a research program which understands the market we operate in, and keeps us ahead of the competition.

You’ll know what our customers want, how they want us to deliver it, and you’ll make sure these messages are at the forefront of our commercial thinking, our product development road map, and develop our free-to-play games.

This is a role for a research leader who cares passionately about understanding the needs of a customer and can easily dissect masses of data into a succinct influential communication for the rest of the business to understand and act upon.


Who are we looking for:-

We are looking for 3-5 years of professional experience as a research analysis (or similar). You’ll need a strong understanding of research, data analytics and gaining insight.

Experience of marketing and /or social media data and analytics as well as data visualization, reporting and insight presenting experience is ideal.

You’ll need a full range of research skills – and you’ll work with your team to decide which approach will work best for each project you tackle.
