You will join as one of the key players in the Business Intelligence team of The Stars Group. You’ll act as the liaison between business end users and developers/data engineers to figure out requirements for the data platform. You’ll provide business analysis expertise across all projects, taking responsibility for translating business requirements into tangible deliverables. We’ll want you to drive the implementation of complex and long-term business plans by supporting and handling the development, implementation and user adoption of BI reporting solutions and other applications.
In addition, you’ll collaborate with business users to understand business processes, gather business requirements, evaluate concepts, present solutions and assist end users with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) needs. You’ll also work closely with the developers and engineers to translate requirements into technical specifications, identify and assess potential data sources to meet the requirements of projects. You’ll be tasked with maintaining the data dictionary, documenting technical requirements to be used for design and development and assisting with design and testing reports to enable the delivery of efficient end-user reporting solutions. You’ll also plan projects and schedules, balance multiple projects, and follow through on project deliverables. As you can see, it’s a role full of opportunity and responsibility to deliver!
Who are we looking for:
You’ll be someone who can demonstrate the required knowledge & skills, gained through education, training and experience. You’re likely an authority in business analysis, data analysis and/or requirements gathering. You’ll be someone who can use data and analytics tools for business purposes especially well. You’ll have a deep level of knowledge of key data warehousing concepts, as well as being proficient in SQL and have an ability to analyze data. You’ll also be able to effectively communicate with business users to understand business processes to translate user requirements into technical solutions. We’re really after a strong and analytical problem solver.
If you also have knowledge of the Gaming industry that’s a big plus too.
