We are looking for a Contract Administrator to join our busy and dynamic team based in our Miami Office.

In your role, you’ll work with the Commercial Legal Counsel and other members of the commercial and corporate legal teams. You’ll provide legal support in respect of a broad range of commercial and corporate areas of the Stars Group (“Group”).

As you will work closely with the commercial legal team (and as needed the corporate legal team) and the Group’s internal business personnel, we’ll look for you to assist with (1) administering, drafting and reviewing a wide range of commercial and corporate agreements including, but not limited to, confidentiality, service provider, consultant and commercial leasing agreements, intercompany, media, marketing, IT, and other commercial and corporate documents and (2), managing internal precedents and other team documentation and processes.

You’ll be joining a growing and busy legal team that will provide excellent opportunities for career progression. 

You can expect to work under the guidance and direction from the senior Commercial Legal Counsel and other commercial lawyers in the team, you will be tasked with:

  • Providing first class support to all relevant Group departments requiring legal support on commercial and corporate documents.
  • Working within agreed guidelines: draft and review a wide variety of transactional agreements.
  • Assisting with the administration of the process and organization of commercial agreements.
  • Assisting with the updating of in-house commercial and corporate precedents.
  • Facilitating through to completion all stages of commercial agreements.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with third party law firms and internal business personnel.
  • Working closely with internal teams (e.g. marketing and finance) to provide legal and procedural direction and advice, appropriately balancing risk and reward of projects
  • Contributing to review and improvement of processes on ongoing basis

Who are we looking for:

We’re looking for you to have previous paralegal experience in the US. You’ll have a paralegal certificate and have at least 3 years’ previous experience in private practice within a law firm or in-house at a company which specialises in e-commerce or digital media. We’ll look for you to have proven commercial drafting and review expertise in respect of a wide range commercial documents. You will have excellent professional written skills with first class attention to detail. We’ll want you to be an individual who has excellent organizational and communication skills, including with respect to managing a large number of transactions. Extensive knowledge of grammar, spelling, punctuation and legal terminology is a must for this role.

We want you to be someone who has high levels of self-motivation, with an ability to work autonomously and manage your own work load. You’ll have a high proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, Outlook or similar e-mail/calendar technology. In addition, knowledge of relevant databases is beneficial.

Ideally you’ll have experience with internet gaming, whether in-house or in private practice but this is not a “must have”. Similarly, experience in law in multiple jurisdictions is really beneficial.
