The role: Compliance Analyst
We are looking for a Compliance Analyst to join our busy and dynamic team based in our Malta Office.
Why we need you: -
As Compliance Analyst you will have ownership of the Compliance requirements for the French and Greek licenses, including awareness of Technical, AML and Marketing requirements. You’ll undertake full operational compliance review of applicable regulations, obtaining evidence of compliance ensuring that they are in line with Group policy, working with the business on any areas of noncompliance and generating regular and routine reports on the same to Group Management.
This role requires you to maintain the group’s compliance monitoring program, ensuring compliance issues raised are dealt with in a timely fashion and coordinate compliance in relation to products, strategies and operational processes and procedures, working with stakeholders and management.
You will need to ensure that relationship with all regulatory bodies are kept to the highest standard, whilst also undertaking ad hoc projects as determined by Group management and assist with regulator issues and queries as applicable. You’ll also be required to coordinate any law enforcement or other investigative authority requests in accordance with internal processes and procedures.
Who are we looking for: -
You will be fluent in English and French (Greek would be additional advantage) and have excellent communication skills both written and verbal. Your experience will be a background in compliance, regulatory or auditing function within the gambling industry.
You’ll have experience conducting investigations and / or auditing using computer systems, as well as experience of working with regulators, external auditors and inspectors. Experience interpreting and applying legislation within a company context as well as compiling information for regulatory return is essential.
You should have excellent customer services skills, with strong attention to detail and good presentation / training skills. You will be a well organised person who can prioritise work schedules and individual tasks, while being able to meet required deadlines.
This role requires you to be confident communicating with staff at all levels and have an adaptable approach to work. You may be required to undertake international travel when required by the business.
As the ideal candidate, you will have: -
Experience working on a French licence regime is desirable.
