The role: Commercial Legal Counsel
We are looking for a Commercial Legal Counsel to join our busy and dynamic legal team in our Dublin office.
Why we need you:-
As Commercial Legal Counsel you will be working with the Group’s commercial legal team; and reporting into the Group’s Senior IT/IP Counsel; you will be asked to provide legal support and have responsibility for a wide variety of legal commercial technology and general commercial matters across the Group, within Europe and internationally.
You’ll provide first class legal advice to all Group departments requiring legal advice on commercial technology and general commercial issues. Whilst also, working within agreed guidelines and framework: draft, review and negotiate commercial technology and general commercial contracts and documents. The role also requires you to assist with the updating of in-house commercial technology and general commercial precedents.
You will be facilitating through to completion of all stages of commercial technology and general commercial agreements, as well as, developing and maintaining relationships with third party law firms and internal business personnel. You’ll be work closely with product teams across all verticals, technology, finance, marketing and tax teams to provide legal direction and advice, appropriately balancing risk and reward of projects. Whilst also contributing with the review and improvement of processes on an ongoing basis.
Who are we looking for:-
As Commercial Legal Counsel you will be a qualified lawyer in Ireland and have 2/3 years post qualified experience in private practice or in-house at a technology company. You will have proven commercial drafting, reviewing and negotiating expertise in respect of a wide range of general commercial and commercial technology documents with a good grasp of intellectual property law.
You’ll have excellent professional written skills with first class attention to detail and excellent organisational skills, ability to lead complicated projects with senior level stakeholders. We also require you to have high levels of self-motivation, ability to work autonomously and manage own work load.
As the ideal candidate, you will have:-
Experience working in the online gaming industry, either in-house or in private practice is desirable.
