Business Analyst - Casino

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst who will be responsible for building innovative and inspiring products for our world class casino gaming platform which is continually being enhanced. 

Why we need you: -

You will work with product managers, developers and project manager to transform business requirements into actionable developer specifications. You will be passionate about digital, has experience in desktop/mobile web and HTML5 software development. You will demonstrate familiarity with, and an ongoing active interest in, user experience best practices for scalable user interfaces, principles of mobile and web user experience, emerging technologies, patterns and trends.

You must possess a thorough understanding of the use of technology and standards for digital implementations. Strong communication skills will be needed to work with key stakeholders and help deliver casino products and/or platform enhancements that will reach a large, global base of users.

You’ll be working business owners and subject matter experts to define new product features and functions. You will analyze high level business requirements and provide gap analysis along with prepare required documentation, user stories, process flows and user guides. Also, you’ll define project goals, scope and deliverables, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility. Plan and co-ordinate project delivery between business units and development team.

Who are we looking for: -

You’ll be conducting meetings with stakeholders to analyze and document project requirements along with visualizing concepts quickly and cleanly through rapid prototyping methods and wireframes so extensive experience as a business analyst, BSA or product manager is important. You’ll be aligning individual property digital needs to best of breed solutions based on industry knowledge, including: Content Management Systems, Social Media. Mobile, Third Party Integration (APIs, XML, Web Services), Browser Capabilities (Responsive Design, HTML 5, CSS3) so an interest in user experience and familiarity with UX concepts along with post-secondary education Diploma or Degree in a related field, BA or PM certifications is beneficial.

You’ll conduct documentation reviews “walkthroughs” with internal and global teams so team work, negotiation, and conflict management experience is important. Soliciting input from developers and other technical staff to determine level of effort required to complete tasks is a vital part of this role so experience with working with cross-functional teams to deliver complex multi-platform interactive applications to consumers.

You’ll work with development staff during the technical design, programming, unit-testing and implementation stages as needed to ensure requirements are being met. You’ll be helping to ensure issues are identified, tracked, reported on, and resolved in a timely manner so the ability to multi-task on many projects at once is important. Good understanding of software development life cycles both waterfall and agile is essential as is familiarity with online games, casino games, 3rd party integrations of gaming content, and online casino software. Previous experience with HTML5 web & mobile development is essential as you’ll be participating in the implementation phase if/as required to validate scope has been met and/or identify gaps.
