The role: Associate Director – Advertising

We are looking for an Associate Director of Advertising to join our growing Stars Creative team, based in our Leeds service office.

Why we need you: -

Stars Creative is the Group’s internal agency, which provides a high quality creative service to the Group’s main verticals (Poker, Casino and Sports) as its core responsibility, and to any other area in the business that requires creative support.  We provide creative solutions in response to the vertical team’s specific briefs, proposed solutions being subject to review and approval by the relevant vertical team before implementation.

Reporting to our Global Creative Director, you will be responsible for leading the planning and execution of all advertising (TV ads, sponsorship bumpers, digital banner ads, paid social video / static / slideshow / canvas, VOD, print, radio) on a global basis based on the specific requests of the vertical teams.  You will make recommendations for improving business processes leading to a positive impact on the Stars Group’s advertising.

You will manage large budgets to effective outcomes. You will advise on strategic and logistical planning, localisation, identifying the right mix of bespoke and templated work as well as A/B testing, concept research and testing, driving creative innovation, and ensuring all round advertising excellence. You will take responsibility for managing and leading the advertising section of Stars Creative and will work with a range of internal stakeholders to improve advertising processes and creative quality, working in a consultant role when external agencies may be involved, as required.   

Who are we looking for: -

We are looking for a highly experienced advertising professional with an extensive background in brand and digital advertising or experience working directly for top online brands.  You will have demonstrable success in high level advertising roles, including TV, digital and social and experienced advising on advertising strategic and logistical planning, account management and creative work evaluation skills.

You will need a proven track record of managing high performing teams and strong interpersonal skills to manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.  You’ll need to conceptualise, discuss and present marketing ideas and manage work with outside suppliers, where required.

As the ideal candidate, you will have: -

Experience of working with gaming brands or similar.
